The last couple of years the visual migraines come two days in a row or like one time last year twice in one day. I usually know that I am going to have one the day of having it just by my vision is aura like. I define myself as a very spriritual person and decided to type into Google "Spiritual definitions of visual migraines" and got this website. I haven't read the whole thing but some of the poetry is spot on in describing a visual migraine. I just had my migraine about a half hour ago and had one yesterday around 3pm. OC and I were in a big warehouse-type store when I began to realize half of my visual field was becoming distorted. It got worse before it got better. Scared the crap out of me! Craig took me to the ER. The doc told me it may or may not happen again. I too will read more later. I'm curious ...

I told her about the increase in my visual migraines. She said women experience them about 10yrs prior to menopause and through menopause more and more frequently and that it is fairly common. My cholesterol is back to normal thanks to diet changes and Lipitor. Blood pressure getting better as well. The first visual migraine I had was about 10yrs ago during bumbershoot. I thought I was having early signs of a stroke or anurism (sp?). The next one I had was a couple years later. I'd then have one a year but now what I call clusters, a couple of days at a time, two a day? I need to track them more. Seems they happen the week before my "monthly" visitor, "mother nature", ladies you know the lingo. I remember A3 being the one to actually tell me my experiences were called Visual Migraines. Finally a name to it! She said many experience them prior to a full on migraine. I have yet to experience that and hope I never do.

Same dif really but may increase google hits. I haven't had it happen again and can't imagine what I'd do if one happened while I was driving down I5. The migranes I'm most familar with involve lots of nausea and vomiting. Also, I've read that the sinus type headaches people generally attribute to changes in weather are actually a type of migrane. Interesting about the hormonal connections for women. I wonder about the incidence of occurance of migranes for women vs those for men.

Almonds, walnuts, cashews, peanuts, macadamia, and if salted WOW!!! You might go for the mixed nuts? Crazy!!! Hey guys out there, be very glad you didn't have to have a bloodflow monthly, lasting a week, out of your favorite places. Plugged up with a huge cotton swab! And cramps to boot. Zits! Tender breasts! Oh and hot flashes for maybe 10 years and the hormones!!!! A monster personality comes out from the first period to the very end. I never had kids but childbirth? Nursing!!!! And post-pardum? And body changes? I can go on. Oh yes, I forgot as teens you get hard-ons and later in life take a pill and have hard-ons for 4hrs. Hope you find a young nut to take care of that for you or you still have a strong grip. Hmmm, I think I'd rather be a nut!

I'll have to check it out. I'm actually thinking about buying a keyboard. Nothing fancy but I played piano my freshman year in highschool.
